CARDET

CARDET is the leading research and development centre in the Mediterranean region with global expertise in education, sustainable development and digital skills. As the largest independent non-profit centre based in Cyprus,employing0 employing more than 70 researchers and project managers, CARDET is independently affiliated with universities and institutions from around the world, such as Yale University, the University of Nicosia and the International Council of Educational Media. Our team, in partnership with EAEA, has recently developed Cyprus’ lifelong learning strategy for 2021 – 2027, engaging several ministries, government agencies, social partners, and public and private stakeholders. CARDET has completed more than 500 initiatives and projects relating to education, sustainable development, climate change, green transition, digital transformation, digital skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Members of our team, board of directors, and advisory board have served in high-profile positions for organisations like UNESCO, Commonwealth of Learning, OECD, Google, and the American Educational Research Association.

Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa

Presently, Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa encompasses 12 faculties, 5 postgraduate institutes, 5 vocational schools, and a faculty body of 2081 academic staff, educating approximately 39,337 students. Noteworthy faculties, including Medical, Nursing, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, Veterinary, and Forestry, were formerly affiliated with Istanbul University and have since transitioned to IUC.

The Hasan Ali Yucel Faculty of Education (HAYEF), now part of IUC, was founded in 1999 and offers 12 programs for pre-service teachers, spanning from preschool to social and natural sciences, computer and instructional technologies, and foreign language teaching. HAYEF annually enrolls 3700 students in degree programs and an additional 2500 students in certificate programs. Renowned for its rigorous entrance criteria, Istanbul University – Cerrahpasa attracts candidates from the top 10% percentile of the national university entrance exam.

The Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Open and Distance Education Application and Research Center operates as one of the integral units within the university’s administrative structure. At its core, the Research and Development (R&D) unit is dedicated to conducting a spectrum of research and development initiatives. The overarching objective is to enhance the quality of education and address prevailing educational challenges by seamlessly integrating contemporary and advanced technologies into educational processes. The center boasts a robust technical infrastructure, particularly in the realms of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR). Noteworthy devices such as the Oculus Quest 2, Oculus Rift S, and Oculus Go, among others, are readily employed for these purposes. Moreover, the center actively engages in developmental endeavors concerning HTC Vive and similar devices.

SOU Gimnazija “Goce Delcev”

The SOU Gymnasium “Goce Delchev,” situated in Kumanovo, Republic of North Macedonia, stands out as a premier educational institution within the country. Hosting an annual enrollment of 1000 students and employing approximately 100 educators, it offers a diverse array of educational profiles including Natural-Mathematical, Social and Humanistic, and Linguistic and Artistic disciplines.

As a municipal institution, the school serves as a nexus for student growth and career advancement, boasting modern amenities such as a gymnasium, a gallery for events and presentations, subject-specific classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Each classroom is equipped with essential teaching aids including smart boards, computers, and projectors, facilitating dynamic instructional delivery.

With 20 classrooms and 10 specialized cabinets, the school accommodates a balanced mix of male and female students. Furthermore, the educational environment fosters a conducive atmosphere for learning, encouraging critical thinking and intellectual development among its student body.

Šiaulių universitetinė gimnazija

Discover Šiauliai University Gymnasium, is a vibrant educational institution dedicated to excellence and innovation. With a student body of 368, supported by 44 teachers and 13 staff members, the gymnasium provides a dynamic learning environment for students aged 16 to 18 years old. Prioritizing individual student needs, the gymnasium embraces positive change and utilizes modern technology to enhance the teaching process.
